What is Church
for Men? Well, it's just that, a study
group, a fellowship, the church. . .for men only. It's
not a typical church service. There's no music
upfront or offering taken. Just come as you are
and be prepared for teaching that goes deeper than the
surface level. It's a dangerous undertaking as
fifty or more men gather each week. The large
group teaching is done by Pastor David Tarkington, then
if the men choose, they get together in small groups to
discuss how this teaching impacts real life.
What will I get
from this? A number of promises were
made at the first meeting. We're using material
created for Men's Fraternity and there are some promises
we offer. If you come, get serious about it and
stick with us, you will get the following:

A clear definition of authentic
manhood.

You will develop a new manhood
language.

You will make significant personal
discoveries about yourself.

You will make new friends who are
pursuing a common goal.
-
You will have your own personalized
manhood plan for achieving authentic manhood.
This is not for the weak of heart.
It will take courage to come to CFM. You have what
it takes, though, so make it a point to be here.
It will benefit you as a man and for those of you who
are married or have children, it will benefit them as
well.

SCHEDULE FOR CHURCH FOR MEN
Meets Sundays at 7pm in Building "C" at the First
Baptist Church Main Campus
We have distributed "Your Manhood
Plan." These are available in the CFM meeting room
on Sunday evenings or you may download a copy. We
meet every Sunday at 7pm through May 23, 2010 unless
signified differently in the calendar below.
